Rev. Debbie Gorbandt, Music/Worship Minister
Debbie's favorite Bible verse is Psalm 40:3--"He put a new song
in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God." Bringing over 20 years
of music ministry experience to Westport Baptist, Debbie joyfully
pursues her calling to help "prepare God's people for works of service,
so that the body of Christ may be built up..." (Ephesians 4:12). Her
enthusiasm in worship and praise serves to encourage all who come
to worship at Westport Baptist.

Rev. DeWayne Sowell, Pastor
DeWayne began his service in Westport on April 9, 2007. A favorite
scripture is Romans 12:1-2 --"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view
of God's mercy to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and
pleasing to God -- this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not
conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind. then you will be able to test and
approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will."
He is passionate about sharing the gospel, serving others, growing
disciples, and worshipping God.
